Sorry about the ramble - it’s a good name for an excellent painting. This Plum Duff is a part of the dairy herd at Charleston Farmhouse. I cycle past and wave at the herd most days on my way to the studio. Painted over many weeks with layer upon layer of semi-transparent paint - there is a soft velvety feel to this painting - there is - I’m delighted with it.
